Plus Camerimage Forum 2007

Plus Camerimage Forum was organized in cooperation with
The idea behind the Festival is also to raise the important issues and problems regarding the film industry, development of filmmaking and the filmmakers themselves. At Camerimage 2005 and 2006 we organized a forum devoted to the working conditions of the cinematographers and to the copyrights. The representatives of cinematographers’ associations from all over the world took part in the event. Establishing of the forum was a natural result of many meetings and discussions between the festival guests throughout the years of Camerimage. Plus Camerimage Forum was held also this year. It was a panel devoted to the issues of both, the field of copyrights of a film image and terms and conditions of cinematographers’ work. Much attention was given to the copyrights in the context of modern digital technologies and portable media devices.
The first session, organized together with IMAGO - "The Model Contract / Guidelines for Authorship & Working Conditions" included the participation of Prof. Dr. Cristina Busch from Barcelona, Nigel Walters (BSC) and IMAGO Board: Andreas Fischer-Hansen (DFF), Tony Costa (AIP) and Paul René Roestad (FNF).
The next part of the forum was organized in cooperation with bvk, and its subject was Problematic Aspects in Working Conditions and Systematic Development of Control.
